"You will have to forgive the TNA marks, TNA is relatively new and so are its fans(most of them) so they just dont know good wrestling when they see it." ~ (guy above)
That is a pretty idiotic statement. Most TNA fans are those who got fed up with WWE's shitty product and wanted an alternative. The "new" fans are all WWE fans, as can proven by the average age at a WWE show being about 13 while the average age at a TNA show would be about 18-24.
To the actual question.
I was for the longest time the biggest TNA fanboy ever and this was up until a couple of weeks ago. But, ironically, during that phase and even now, the only wrestler who's stuff I would consistently read was Lance Storm. And yeah, there were times when Storm would tear **** off TNA, but TNA deserved it. TNA does have piss poor booking, with complete randomness, stuff that doesnt make sense, no build up to matches, etc. I remember him also talking about the uselessness of Tenay and West which also made me pretty happy.
I don't think the problem here is that TNA marks have double standards, its just that ALL marks have double standards, whether they be WWE or TNA or anything else. Marks suck. And on occasion the overly-pretentious TNA "I wish I were a smark but I don't actually know anything" brand of marks are worse than regular marks, but its not often.
Lance Storm is gold. All marks suck, and kill any hope of intelligent discussion. Anybody that downplays Lance Storm based on his career and wrestling skills should die.

Once TNA went with the Pac Man Jones storyline, the company became a ridiculous joke - this hideous script was comparable with the worst from WCW (Cactus Jack and Lost in Cleveland comes to mind). Lance Storm is just saying what he has heard from friends in the company.....they were so close in actually setting things up to be an alternative to Vinnie & then gave it all away in a few minutes. And TNA has not recovered, which certainly has the wrestlers frustrated.

They think they are allowed to because the WWE is on top in the mainstream.
The TNA fanboys/marks all think of TNA as the only true wrestling organization that can compete with WWE, and a majority of them talking trash are just "bandwagon" fans, nothing more. The worst part about most of them is they watch WWE still.
Richard C- TNA started going down when Samoa Joe won the Tag Team Titles and Kurt Angle won all titles. PacMan Jones made it worse.

Because sadly, it's not about that anymore. Being good at what you do. It's all about storylines now. Who has the most controversy surrounding them and who looks the best. To these people, Lance Storm is a washed up dinosaur from the WCW days. Who cares how good he is and what he has done that went unnoticed, he doesnt sell T-shirts! This is the mindset of most of todays wrestling fans. I agree that Lance was one of the best technical guys. Of all time? Ehhhhhh, there were alot of good technical guys in the past, but he is still pretty good.

When was Storm a booker in ECW? What years?
I'm a huge ECW mark and Storm mark. I'm pretty sure he was never a booker there.

TNA just doesn't like to hear about their own flaws, even from a true pro like Storm.
