She's clearly only supporting Barak Obama because he's (half) black. There are other Democrat candidates that have the same ideology as Obama as well as more experience.

I think so.....She's supporting him on the basis of his race. Just like she spent millions of dollars to build a school in Africa, "Charity begins at home". That's like asking if Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are racists or the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) is a racist organization. Obama is not a good candidate, nor is he a Christian (as I've asked before as commander in chief can he led us to victory in Iraq and Afghanistan against countries that are filled with 90% Muslims?). As a vertern I would have a real problem following his command, worrying if he had the U.S.'s best interest at heart-the same heart he refuses to cover during the National Anthem. What other U.S. policys and traditions does he have a problem with? Barak Hussien Obama (that's his real name by the way) I can't but a mark on my ballot next to him.Oprah is blinded by color.

No, she's not. She's one of the few female role models that can't afford to be proven a racist. In this day and age, that would be career suicide. I'm caucasian, and a politician by any other name is still a weasel. If Oprah IS supporting him ONLY because he has some African-American heritage in him, then so be it. There's never anything wrong with supporting the candidate that YOU feel most aligned with.

We-l-l, let's see. Who are televised mostly on her show. Topics on white women not cleaning their houses, cheaters, child molesters, drug addicts, movie stars and want to be movie stars. No matter what topics, I am sure there are other races perhaps with the same issues, but nevertheless, most of her audience and show preferences gear to whites. Just wait, there is a world of people that are racially mixed, and soon the rest of the world will be racially powerless. Perhaps it is needed. A president other than a white one are some people's darkest nightmare. If you can accept presidents who never serve in the military, it looks like you should accept anyone as you have done.

I am supporting Obama as well as about 25% of likely Dem voters. I am not black and am not supporting him because of his ethnicity.
The racist here is not Oprah - rather those who have already decided that the only reason to support a successful, impressive black man is because you yourself are black.

IMHO, Oprah would make a better candidate than Hillary or Obama....hell, we certainly have no problem electing rich and famous celebrities, she'd be better than Fred Thompson anyway

She absolutely is like every other black in this country! Just is making it more known now and White America can just say I told ya so! If you are surprised then that is surprising since most whites know most blacks are racist against them! She and all blacks hate anything white , sad but true. They aint just black they are green with envy!

Yes, she is a racist. I have nothing against Obama, but Oprah's motives are clear, she supports him because he is black, and only because he is black.

It may not be racism but it is fishy. I cannot remember her ever speaking out for any other candidate before. To suddenly swoon over Obama reeks of preferential treatment.

Yes, but its better than playing the sexist card by backing that twit she was planning to back before Obama completed his preparatory training.

lol - Oprah's ratings couldn't have withstood her backing of Hillary.... she'd have been off the air come election time....
