if my kids are not with me I put it on vibrate, but I never answer it unless its my kids(who know not to call unless emergency) If kids are with me or at grandmas I turn it off. and if they do call I leave to the restroom to call back, I never answer it, that is rude! I think it is rude when you are trying to watch a movie and the inconsiderate prick in front of you is texting through the whole thing! Why pay money to go to a movie if you are just going to sit on the phone the entire time.
One time I ask this girl (about 16 yrs old) like 20 times to turn phone off, then I moved to get away from her and she followed me, just to be a b i t ** so I dumped my soda on her head, got my money refunded and got her kicked out of the theater....next time she will know when it comes bi tc h to bi tc h I will always win!

Of course. It is good manners! Now I guess if I were expecting an important call, I'd put it on vibrate, but otherwise, turn it off. Take two hours away from the world and enjoy your movie! (And let other people enjoy theirs!)

Yes. I absolutely hate those people who keeps they're phone on during the movies. They're IDIOTS!!! It's too freaking annoying. I paid ten bucks to watch movie, not to listen to someone's boring a** phone conversation. Seriously, people- Turn the cell phone off.
And the people who leaves it on vibrate. BUZZZZZ!!!! BUZZZZZ!!!!! (oh no one can hear that) WTF?!?! YES, WE CAN!!!! BUZZZZZ!!!!!! BUZZZZZ!!!!! TURN IT OFF!!!!
AND OMG... The light from the cell phone! It's like a Beacon that says "Look at me! I'm on the phone during the movie. Don't I look so important?" Umm.... NOT!!!!! Instead you just become the most hated person in the movie theater.

fortuitously, I a) have on no account had that have while i circulate to the flicks, and b) do no longer own a cell telephone myself. once you'll be on the cellular considering which you're on call 24/7, the least you're able to do is whisper. in spite of the undeniable fact that, according to risk you ought to tell the criminal to get off the telephone first, andif he persists or tells you off, get the government.

i'll turn it to silent mode. who knows what important call you will receive at that time?
i've heard of people who missed the last chance to see their dying family members/relatives simply because their phone was turned off/no reception.
