The name Mackenzie is of Irish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "fire-born; son of the wise ruler". The name's development was also influenced by Cainnech, meaning "good-looking".
Mackenzie has 5 variant forms: Mackenzey, Makensie, Makenzie, McKenzie and M'Kenzie.
I prefer Makenzie Lynn its rolls off the tongue perfectly and would make a nice signature:)
remember the name doesn't make the child, the child makes the name!

Well I have a neice name McKynzie Ann Marie. So I like that name .. for the spelling of the first name I like it spelled MacKenzie. As for what middle name I am leaning towards Lynn. Just sounds better.

I like Mackenzie Lynn the best. Mackenzie is my name, and I've always liked it and the spelling. Lynn is also a good middle name because it is short, so it flows.

Makenzie Lynn
I hate the spelling Mackenzie because it makes Mack a potential nickname.

Mackenzie is a legitimate girls name and is actually a fairly common name in the US (makes the top 100 for girls names in the US).
But it sounds like a family name, and doesn't really sound very nice. Shortened it becomes Mackers, Mack, Kenzie...etc.
To be honest it is not my favourite girl's name and doesn't recieve much positive feedback from other people.
I know this sounds very negative, but I am being honest. So I would add the positive side. I think Mackenzie sounds like a very honest person, a lovely girl with freckles and no pretentions.

i dont like Makenzi especially considering the meaning for a girl, but if you have to have it I like Lynn. Faith adds too much complication.

Love the name Faith though. Classy and not trendy.
