Honey you are in labor. Call your dr or midwife and get yourself to wherever you plan on birthing your baby.

It really does sound like contractions, but only you would know that. The feeling open is because as your body is getting ready to give birth, your pelvis changes shape and opens, the toilet, I'd say, is where the head is engaged and pushing down. Gravity works, and it doesn't help when a baby is in you. it's a good thing, it means you shouldn't have to push the baby into position as it's there. Congratulations.
Hope you have a happy labour :D

40 +1 is term preg the fetal head is coming down to your pelvic but you haven't uterine contraction back pain is the normal symptom of pregnancy woman but you shouldn't wait for a long time cause 40 weeks is the good time for giving birth if the pregnant is prolong especcially more than 42 weeks is the bad cause the placenta that passed the food and oxygen for baby will cannot doing the good job and making problem to the baby

Get yourself off to the hospital as it sounds like your baby is on its way.

A lot of women feel contractions in their backs and the fact that you keep on needing the toilet (and I'm guessing an urge to push) suggests to me that your baby is on its way.

So please, jump in your car/ a taxi and get down to the maternity department of your hospital, after all its better to be safe than sorry when it comes to having a baby.

You are most likely in early labour. Backache can be the first sign of labour. Contractions will probably start soon.

I am no midwife but I have been pregnant 4 times. It sounds like you are in labor. I would put a call in to the doctor.

it is contractions in your back. i felt all my contractions in my back..
they would come and go.
you're dialating, as you say you have the urge to go toilet, but nothing comes out...

i think you should go in to your hospital or where you plan to give birth..
keep walking, to speed it all up sweety
and good luck

congrats

is it your first baby? You are almost certainly in labour! each labour is different and I thought it was trrapped wind with my first, duh! Good luck and stay on your feet as long as you can, it will help with the birth. (good old gravity and a bit of movement from you helps position the baby to emerge)
thinking of you.
