My junior prom date I found out passed away last year, possibly due to illness?
My senior prom date died from a skateboarding accident.
I went to another prom during my senior year and slept through a hotel party on a couch. I found out later on in college that my date was gay, which was fine with me.
My freshman year in college, one of my high school friends, four months younger than me, asked me to his senior prom. It was raining really hard and his parents videotaped us eating at the dining room table. I still have that pic framed and on my bookshelf!

Well, I'm gay, and I double-dated with my boyfriend -- we both took girls. Our relationship was very secret, so it was an odd evening -- he and I furtively played footsie under the table at dinner.
After the prom a large group of us went out to the beach for a bonfire, and Rob and I snuck off and necked about 100 yards away. It was very romantic.
Ah, 1980. *sigh*

No, but that was the theme. The school put in many new rules for our prom and it wasn't much fun. So I guess it was memorable, just not in a good way.

LOL yeah the jerk that took me was expecting something in the end. Boy was he mad when I told I'm staying at my best friend's. He bought a room and everything. But he was such a jerk the whole night I left him at the afterprom.

my sister's prom happened the same weekend as the rodney king riots and when busted with the rest of her party for underaged drinking and possesion of pot, the cops let them go for bigger catches. i thought that was interesting.
