No, because among many other reasons, abortions will not cease if they are banned. They will only be performed less safely and bring harm to a greater number of women.

It is not just a moral issue. It is a public health issue, and a personal liberties issue, and yes, it's even an economic issue.

I found myself giving a thumbs down to the people who were saying abortions should be banned, so I guess I believe they should be free and legal. I am a mother of two who has never had an abortion but known of people who have. There is some cases where people are raped and get pregnant, shouldnt those people have the right to abort!

Yes, life needs to be protected from the moment of conception. If a baby is born premature, the law says it's a life. If the same baby was not born premature you could do a partial birth abortion and be legal. Now go and try to end the life of the premature baby 5 min after birth. You will be a murder.

Yes, because plain and simple, abortion is murder. People have basically two options when determining at one point the fetus is considered a human. It can either be at conception, or at birth.

However, the at birth option really isn't that good, because you could be born two months premature and still be perfectly healthy. You could be born even earlier, and be missing your sight, but still considered human. The other option is at conception. At this point, there is nothing else the fetus can become. Left alone, it's potential to become a human is 100%. Sure, it could die early of natural causes, but so can any person.

It's the question of a life time. I would like to see it be decided by each individual state instead of the Supreme Court. Let there be states that allow it and some that don't.

Nope, unwanted children are abused. It will result in a massive wave of crime and abuse in society. A rape victim has all the right in the world to decide whether or not she wants the child.

No, our decision, not a governments. They are not going to be there to raise the child. Plus illegal abortions would continue, and a lot can go wrong with that.
