It's still too early to tell. He's definitely on his way on making a case for himself. He has another two years of eligibility to be the second only player to win two Heismans. He also is 20 rushing touchdowns short of the most career rushing touchdowns of any player (at any position) in the SEC, which says a lot for a conference that once has H. Walker, S. Alexander, B. Jackson, and E. Smith.

To those that think he won't be a good pro quarterback need to have their evaluation skills checked. He's not just rushing for touchdowns, or every time like most mobile quarterbacks. He also had over 20 passing TD's, and completed over 60% of his passes. That shows he can pass it as well. People who make that comment are simply hating someone who is only bound to get better during his junior season, and then possibly senior.

If he breaks that rushing touchdown record, and wins a second Heisman I think he has a very good argument for the best college player of all time. That's before he has success in the NFL.

i think of that if he wins the national championship and/or the heisman next twelve months, he will easily be good 5 gamers all time. he's the suitable participant good now in college and the suitable participant that i've got ever watched in individual. (I went to the sport vs. florida state whilst they gained 40 5-15) no longer in user-friendly terms does he have the middle, choose, and paintings ethic, he will have re-written lots of the SEC checklist books additionally. He already has the SEC checklist for speeding TDs, and if he throws for 40+ next twelve months, he will have the checklist for passing TDs in a profession. And, enjoying interior the suitable convention, against the suitable communities interior the rustic solidifies the case for Tebow as one among college soccer's maximum appropriate gamers.

This guy has a chance of being one of the only two guys to win the Hesiman twice in his college career...

Tim Tebow is one of the best college football players ever...

but I am sorry to say he wouldn't be a good NFL quarterback...

but this guy is a great, college QB.

As a Gator fan, not yet.

To me, "greatest college player ever" needs to wait until his career is over. When all is said and done, he should be in the top tier, but as much as I love him, I would not put him in an Earl Campbell or Jim Brown category just yet.

Could he be one of the greatest QBs ever? He's got the talent and is just a beast. Period. But there are too many "greats" out there to put Tim ahead of them in his 2nd year in college.

Now, if he wins 3 Heismans, then we can put him there *laugh*

If he never plays another down, he will be remembered as a great college player, but not one of the greatest ever. I think in the next two years, he will make himself one of the greatest ever.

We can't make this assumption yet because he still has two years ahead of him. But he most certainly put together one of the best seasons ever.

well, he's the only player to win a heisman as a soph. i'd say he's well on his way if not already there. and ppppplease, i don't wanna hear how he's not gonna be a good pro. THAT has nothing to do with the question.
