How about water? Also Sulfuric and nitric acids. Sodium hydroxide in drain cleaner. Boric acid as roach and ant killer. Nitrous oxide, or laughing gas. Stannous fluoride to prevent cavities. Selenium sulfide to prevent dandruff.

Table Salt = NaCl
Carbon Dioxide = CO2
Ammonia = NH3
Those are three inorganic compounds I can think of off the top of my head which are used all over the place. Enjoy!

[sigh] That eliminates steel, which was my first thought.
What about silicon ?
Different "doping" forms different compounds, as in N-type and P-type semiconductors.
Plus, there's glass.
