I’m sure this has happened before, it seems like it would be the perfect way to get beer and cigarettes if you’re underage. I mean think about it, would you ask a Muslim woman to take off her vale? I imagine its 50 50, and if they were underage all they have to say is its against my beliefs to show my face in public and walk away without getting in trouble!!!

There are differing degrees of strictness amongst Muslims, depending on what sect and interpretation you follow.

If you follow one strict enough that it requires the females to have their faces covered by their burkas, then those versions of Islam also prohibit alcohol, for both the women and the men. Tobacco I'm not so sure about.

as funny as the question sounds im sure its probably serious.

1. the Koran forbids the drinking of alcohole so she wouldnt be a muslim if shes wearing a vale and buying alcohole.

2 im pretty sure the koran also says you arnt alowed to become intoxicated which cigarettes do. (i think the niccotine hit counts as intoxication).

but otherwise i don't know the answer to the question.
however to provide ID int he first place the photo would have to be taken with her vale off aswell so there is that to think about even before she buys grogg or ciggys

Muslims can't drink. So no beer.
Muslim women generally don't (or can't depending on the law of the land) go shopping without a male escort (family member or very close family friend), who would be the one to make the purchase and show id.

Also, the veil is a cultural thing, not a religious one, so it couldn't be used in any way as a legal back door.

I dont know about the whole selling the food stamps thing because in kansas where i live, "food stamps" are not actual stamps anymore. They are basically put onto a debit card that is reloaded on your designated day each month. So it is rather hard to sell your food stamps around here but i suppose you could let someone use your card which requires letting them have your pin number and you could also take them shopping at your expense. But on to the question... I do think that that person who uses their food benefits in one way or another to obtain an alcoholic beverage or tobacco product, yes their benefits should be ceased. As far as women who get pregnant to keep the benefits, well that is a life mistake on their part but it is in no way shape or form beneficial for us to then take away any benefits of which she is entitled to because then at that point instead of denying the mother we are then denying the child as well and we know the child had nothing to do with the fact their mom is on assistance. As far as taking responsibility, in Kansas I know that once you are on welfare and dont have a job of any sorts, provided you are not disabled, you are required to get a job or complete thier career course within 90 days of their notice or you benefits will cease. This I know to be true. They dont want you to be a total free loader. We must however remember that there are those in this country who do not abuse the system and we need to remember that they should not be punished for the mooches in this country.

oddly enough people cannot require that a person reveal their entire face to prove their identity. There was a case: Sultaana Freeman v. State of Florida, where a lady wanted a drivers licence and refused to take off her veil, they said it was unconstitutional to require her to remove her veil. I don't know about any overulings after 9-11, but I think that you should have to abide by the countries laws that you visit, especially if you move there. But to answer your question, I don't think muslums can drink, can they?

In America she would. Not long ago there was a court case where a Muslim woman was saying it was against her religion to take off her Vail for a drivers license photo. She lost, but who knows if we can with stand these probes in the courts to weaken our society.

muslim women in america don't cover there faces. And in countries that have them cover up have no drinking/smoking age.
Also, there is a policy among store owners
"we have the right to refuse service to anyone"
