I'm not interested in an audience. I sing in the shower because of the acoustics of bathroom walls.

Barely ever do people sing in the shower to entertain an audience other than themselves. So, if there was a point to the activity, it would be self-entertainment.
I also used to do it as a way to do some practice before a performance, since my lungs would be getting a good amount of warm air into them to loosen them up and I would focus on my pitch instead of trying to hear it and improve it while listening to all the other singers as well.

Maybe it is good for practicing. My walls are very thin I am pretty sure My neighbors would get quite a free concert if I sang in the shower.

Sing to feel good inside & your singing does sound better in that enclosed spaces.

You're naked, you're wet, you're singing at the top of your lungs-no point really, it's just fun.
Of course, it's more fun doing a duet!
