We are long aware of the problem and we have government programs in place to monitor/control our population growth.

If there is the presence of uncircumcised or intact adult males interior the Philippines, often they're got here across natively on the greater present day and greater sexually liberated cities and municipalities of the Philippines. Uncircumcised adult males is obviously non-existent in any respect on the greater conservative cities and municipalities of the Philippines like on Bangsamoro region. Uncircumcised adult males is thoroughly absent on the poorest provinces interior the Philippines. So, in case you hate uncircumcised adult males, If I have been you, you shall stay there to the region mutually with Bangsamoro or ARMM! Male circumcision is an component to the subculture there by way of fact lots of the persons there are the main fool interior the full Earth.

it will increase... artificial contraceptives are widely available... however, it is not that saleable with the lower class where as you say are more "reproductive" rather than "productive"....
reason:
1. condom is expensive... it might just be coins for you but unless it is given free, these guys are not gonna buy it... you even find their kids on the street singing out of tune wrong lyrics christmas songs so that you may give them your piso...
2. it is recreation... we tried to teach natural family planning to rural wives and we went home laughing... sex for them was breakfast, lunch and dinner... who can blame them?... they don't have electricity and they don't know how to read - so there goes books/comics as possible recreation...
3. they really like the flesh... i cannot personally vouch for this (no experience), but most married couples i know regardless of social status would prefer no condom... they would even joke that nobody would like to eat a candy inside a wrapper... (as a note: stay monogamous if no condom - or else face the high risk of sexually transmitted disease)
Helpless case and perhaps you might think of another option. Abortion maybe?
Okay, we all know that medical facilities in the Philippines are only good if you have the money... Go to a public health institution and good luck...
Abortion is very risky on the part of the mother... There are possible side effects (such as possible cancer in the uterus though not yet scientifically proven)... Imagine a poor mother undergoing that procedure in a public health facility where minor operations sometimes become critical... And mind you , abortion is not just a minor operation...
If abortion would be legalized, it would only be those with the capacity to pay who would use it... (Such as a wife of an OFW who got pregnant while the husband is gone for more than a year)... So your overpopulation would still be there...
There is a feasible option though... I forgot what one would call the surgical operation where the reproductive tube would be tied and done on male... If its done on women, Filipino men are well known to have mistress even when they cannot buy meals for their families... Or let boys as young as 5 drink nothing else but coke or pepsi so that when they become 20 they are already diabetics and so their penis would not stand...

horrible...
the increase of our population is too high. more mouths yet lesser food on the table. it is also unfair, since many countries in the world try hard to minimize their population growth to avoid the earth being too crowded, yet here we are making more babies liberally, then we would then just depend on the idea of sending our babies abroad to suck wealth from richer countries.
it is also selfish, many families make so much babies to have a merrier family and to have many helping hands in the future, while not even bothering that mother earth and mother nature is already decaying due to population explosion.

It's the biggest problem we have and the one in which we are the most in denial. We breed more than we can feed. Artificial contraception is the only way to logically save this country from drowning in it's own humanity.
And the Catholic Church should stop meddling in these affairs. Priests don't have sex so they should not have a say in the issue at all. Period.

It seems that every time the world gets over populated, some natural disaster takes place. Take for example the boxing day tsunami. GOD IS KILLING OFF PEOPLE.
