I would like to be cremated. I want my family to have my ashes, and my soul. They can cherish them or they can throw them to the ocean to let me be free.
Sounds more beautiful than being buried under the earth, for my body to crumble and turn to dust. I rather be turned to dust all at once.

I think I would rather be cremated as well.
It seems more poetic than being buried.

For myself -- I am an Honorably Retired from the US Military, so am eligible for burial in a National Cemetery. I DO want to have the HONOR of having my Military Service REMEMBERED for all time .. and that is for sure.
As to whether to be buried or cremated ... MY preference is up in the air at this time. I know that my siblings would like me to be close to where they have burial plots, but I also know that the perpetual care offered by the National Cemeteries would be something that I would definitely desire too.

Cremated cuz your family will will have something to remember you and if you are buried animals will eat your body which will make your dead body really bad.Cremated without doubt.

cremated, i dont want to be buried knowing that bacteria and other pests'll eat up my rotten and smelly lifeless body. it'd be nice having my ashes be a part of the world and in the atmosphere...

I want to be cremated. I cant stand the thought of my body slowly decomposing. I don't know what I want to be done with my ashes...I don't want anyone to keep them though, I want them sprinkled somewhere.

I use to not want to think about this but I believe that I will be cremated so that I will be able to be placed where my daughter and son-in-law will be living and where they have their cemetery lots.
I also think it will be more environmental beneficial to use cremation.
