EA Games I believe has the game set up to where you NEED to have a cd in order to play the game, which would make finding it online for free, and downloading a playable version very difficult if not impossible.

well umm theres no way you can "download" any sims games. you have to go and buy the games from the store! if there was a way to download it, it would never be free!
