and how to make it look all old and dusty and scratched?
and how to get the backround perfect?

i like the old vintage look but those are just some things i couldnt make mine do!!
HELP ME PLEASE!!
does ANYONE know how to do any of these?
give me tutorials?

Flat? Easy. Pull contrast down and equalize color. After that increase the brightness and colorize the whole picture.

That is a 'crude' but simple way to do it.

To ad dust throw some lint and dust on your flatbed scanner and make a copy. Ad that as a transparent layer to your photo.
or even make a print of your photo and ad that to the lint. Copy it in one go.

The rose pics is more complex and will need your personal ingenuity and artistry to get done. Lots of selections and tools.

>open the image in photoshop
>insert new layer
>fill it with brown color

filled layer should be above your image layer
>in filled layer , in layer window, box in which NORMAL
is written ,click it and chage it to COLOR
now
>click filter
>dissort
>diffuse glow>change it, as desired
