I think I'm glad he's locked up and going to stay that way. he's a pathetic little worm that believes society owes him, and he's right. Society supports his miserable existence. He should have been executed years ago.

Charles Manson is now doing time for crimes committed. He is where he wants to be and that is where he will stay the rest of his life. Granting he were forgiven, I don't think he would ever fit in. He's been in jail for a long time now.
He is more or less crazy. But then again, maybe he is the sane one and we are the nuts. He's confined in a cell or maybe we are the ones confined. We live in a big blue marble with no hope of parole any time soon.

Personally, I think he's where he wants to be. At least everytime he comes up for parole, he acts crazier than he did the last time.
