She still has a lot of viewers "hypnotized" (mostly housewives) so I don't think she'll end her show anytime soon. She's a very powerful and influential person and she's not afraid to use her influence so i guess a lot of people despise her for that.
She seems too "commercial" rather than sincere nowadays.

First of all no one pushes any one. Obama is a man with real choices as each person who is a man has..
Now to the real issue :) her show..hum yeah its died out I think it just all became about the money too much..I do not see how she is a kind person when people suffer so much day in and day out. I am one of these people I am almost disabled. She sits on a couch an entire hour every day just going on and on about things that dont matter to the average person =/
the show used to hit home but now it has detoured (especially with her wealth I guess) from real reality..and as far as Ellen goes I hate her I havent watched that show in ages..all she does is make fun of people and degrade them.
I dont watch television but I still like some of the stuff it cooks up..:) just nothing that relates to real life and how FAKE people are and can be I already know this - we need to stop paying people to act and emphasize the issue that is blatantly OBVIOUS..
/phew now that my thoughts have ran their mile :) let oprah live the simple life, she was good in years past, but she betted the audience was cast :O O O NO oprah did you know you can say no with the o in no and retire now before our eardrums splatter and our front lawns are covered in your magazine crap :O O O no...
take care :D!!

I've stopped watching Oprah a long time ago. About 2 years. I think now she's into the Hollywood and fake because she's losing ratings. But she's attracting the wrong crowd.
Sad!!!

I thought her show was really getting boring a few years ago when she had people like doctor phil on. I think it's been much better lately (as in the last 6 months). Her show definitely goes through patterns of what's popular but I think despite what she does to stay at her peak of attention, she is a good person and does a lot of really good things for people.
I don't think that as a person in the media like she is that it is alright to openly support a candidate to the point of touring with them. This is the only problem I have with her.
Oprah's been on tv almost my entire life and I wouldn't be surprized if she's got another 15+ years in her.

I'm glad that Ms Oprah Winfrey is putting all of her critics to the ultimate test. At first , when she was catering to all (except her own) everybody was so happy. Her own people sit back and didn't say a word, but they knew what was going on your minds. Oprah was doing her own thing. 99% of her fans / audiance were everybody except her own. Now, just this one time she decides to help a person that's somewhat her own kind, people want to cut her down / criticize her. It actually started when she had that school and living facility built in Africa for girls. It was a good thing what she did for her own, in the motherland. Envious people started to complaining about why she wanted to take her fortunes to the motherland and help some of the people that was less fortunate than she is. That's her business what she does with her money. She's helped a lot of organizations and charities in the U.S., but people still complain. People are always going to find the worse in a person and turn the blind eye to the good she have done. Ignorant people expect the woman to take care and support everybody except her own. People are not being fair to her. This is suppose to be a free country and she can support anyone she feels is a good canidate for president. You may not agree with her but that's your rights. She have her rights also. She do not owe you or anyone else anything. People need to stop envying The Chocolate Billionaire. She has a big fat behind for all the haters out there to K--s.

Oprah didn't seem to be to interested in politics openly until someone of her color ran, thats cool shes taking an interest but if he wins i think it will be because of her money.Oprah seems to be putting on a front now, and why can't she open a homeless school here for people that are down here. we need help here and i feel she needs to stay out of politics until she decides to run for office

Yeah your right, I've started to feel the same way. Oprah has changed, I haven't watched her show for quite sometime now and her pushing Obama has just done me in. Sad=(

I dont dislike her but I agree with much of what you are saying - I think she still has a good heart but she seems to have succumbed to Hollywood too much over the last couple of years, become too much of a suck up. Its a shame.

Yeah, I agree. I don't like her so much anymore, mostly because the media makes her out to be a modern day Jesus. No thank you. Dr. Phil is another one I've lost interest in. It seems as though money and fame has made their heads a little too fat.
