Now, here's MY take on it:

BILL would IMMEDIATELY command control of the situation, putting the hostages at ease while trying to talk down the captors. HILLARY would talk Universal Health Care for each of them and their families if they turned themselves in, while CHELSEA would invite them to a graceful dance across the floor. Not to be outdone, JENNA and BARBARA would pull out their secret stash of liquor and charm them with a tabletop dance ... while LAURA would set about cooking a four-course meal and teach them to read. Then of course GEORGE would put his foot in his mouth; his crazy rantings would drive their captors crazy; not even the efforts of the CLINTONS and the BUSH ladies would calm them down.

Then, miraculously, Jimmy CARTER would come in and offer himself as a hostage. Between BILL's soothing voice and JIMMY's calming presence, the hostage-takers would eventually give in and let them all - yes, even GEORGE (though grudgingly), go safely.

How close am I?!

Let's suspend disbelief for a moment, and assume that the hostage-takers either bribed the Secret Service ... or took them out!!

As I recall ... and, perhaps you should brush up on your history, also ... it was CARTER's negotiations that got every one of the hostages out alive. When they tried to attribute the release of the hostages to REAGAN, REAGAN himself corrected them. Funny how people tend to overlook that little bit of info ... I wonder how many hostages got out of Iraq / Afghanistan alive?

You are very close except for the Bush Jr part... yes he would get on their nerves BUT he would NOT shut up. Bush Jr would continue to talking, telling them to BRING IT ON, etc... until finally Bill would have to tackle and beat the sh... out of him.

At that pt, the hostage takers would be so grateful, they would have a dinner and party for everyone while Bush Jr was tied up.

The moral of this story is that Jimmy Carter saves the day.

You have to be kidding... Are you old enough to remember the hostages in Iran? Perhaps you should have President Reagan save the day, it is more realistic.

Bush could have sent in a Seal group to rescue the hostages, then he could have had a sub torpedo the pirates. yet then Bush isn't a candy *** liberal that desires to assuage all and sundry.

So far off the mark, you are practically out of the stratosphere.
The hostage takers just wants to talk to Hillary.
No one else.

Okay, the first part of what you said happens, then the ghost of Thomas Jefferson swoops down and saves the day.
