Gun control is necessary because there are some people who don't need to have guns. Convicted felons should not have weapons. I am all for guns. Guns are not responsible for deaths, people are. Guns don't get taken to court, people do. That's why we have to pay attention to who carries one.
Gun education is also important. Background checks are important when it comes to who is allowed to purchase weapons. With the recent shootings, one has to think about how we can put a bigger emphasis on gun control. I want to be able to bear arms, but if someone is a convicted felon, I don't think they should.

People who commit crimes with guns should have more limited access to guns than citizens who have never committed a crime with a gun, at least for a certain amount of time, depending on the severity of their crime.
I don't really have a problem with registering guns and background checks, but I'm not sure how much safer they really make the country, since criminals...being criminals....tend not to follow the gun laws either.

I do think there should be background checks on people in order for them to buy guns; don't sell guns to people with psychiatric problems, previous convictions, etc.

Now, that won't keep guns out of people's hands that really want guns, but it's better than letting anyone purchase a gun.

I do think that gun control laws help safety in the country.

Hell no the only control we need is a gag for the politicians who feed you this crap ! Washington DC has the strictest gun control in the US and the highest violent crime and murder rate ! Iraq still has a lower per capita violent death rate than DC last figure I heard was 3+ to 1 !! This is NOT a isolated case ANYWHERE with gun control is the same the stricter it is the higher the crime ! Ask any one from Australia when the government their took the guns away the violent crime rate went up 800% overnight ! Paradoxically a small town in Fla was have problems a while back when Castro dump all his misfits on us remember ? So they passed a law requiring resident to keep a loaded firarm guess what happened ? Crime went to almost 0 overnight ! look this up don't take my word for it ! Check for yourself !

i think that they should do background checks on people before selling them a gum but ......i believe that most people that commit a crime with a gun don't have to buy it in a gun store, most people can get guns on the street ,it is the decent person that buys it the right way ,so i don't really gun control laws do anything really ,but i do believe in guns ,and i think that if they try and take guns from us only outlaws will have them

Background checks are ok but that should be about it. Keeping guns in the hands of regular citizens is the "great equalizer" in dangerous situations.

I suppose it is necessary. Background checks keep psychos etc. from getting their hands on one. One the other hand, anyone can get a gun if they really want to. So in my opinion it is necessary, but it doesn't always work.

Nope. you will not die directly so which you may nevertheless have somewhat time to fireside your gun. whether you acquire shot interior the coronary heart. the only circumstances i think of you die quite much directly is that in case you get shot interior the wind pipe or the ideas. as nicely, assume you have a pistol and the attacker has a bushmaster, think of who has the earnings. Gun administration won't do sh@t. Gun promoting interior the Black industry will skyrocket. And we've each and every good to possess a gun if we would decide to. that isn't the gun it is doing the killing, that's the guy who owns the gun. edit: if everybody has a gun, there will be 100x as many murders. And maximum of them would be pointless. "nicely he exchange into coming good at me. i presumed he exchange into going to kill me." "What exchange into I suppsed to do, slam on the brakes? The @$$hollow decrease me off!" "hello, he began it" And in basic terms think of roughly college. next difficulty you comprehend a bully has his/her make certain's gun and is utilising it to bully others by way of conserving them at gun factor. i think of you ought to have the flexibility to get my factor by way of now

Yes. I'm an NRA member, and I fully support background checks. Frankly, if you can't pass a background check, you have no business purchasing a gun.
