If you could travel in time to witness any historical event, what would it be?

Of course, I will have to say, I would have been absolutely thrilled to have been witness to Dr. Fleming's re-discovery of Penicillin and his observation of the plated culture of Staphylococcus. His curiosity and diligence is, in my opinion, remarkable. Had it not been for him countless would have died so unnecessarily within the last century. I wish people would acknowledge the microbiologist, bacteriologist and other scientist for their contributions to medicine as often as they do authors and artist.

I would go back to witness Pearl Harbor or D-Day. Yes, I realize that they were both bloody days but they were milestones for the Americans in the second World War. I would like to see it from the same perspective that the brave men and women that were there saw it instead of trying to imagine it.
