Depends on what style and genre of rock you like.

Red Hot chili Peppers has a nice funk-rock sound, whereas Linkin Park is a little harder. Three Days Grace is dark and hard, and My chemical Romance has a somewhat punk-rock style - a bit like a darker version of Queen. These bands have some pretty good songs.
