Bridge Over Troubled Waters--Simon & Garfunkle. It's a depressing song, and so is that book.

Personally, I don't know how school approriate the songs need to be, but I would use something by Eminem. I know at first it seems silly, and I'm not even really a fan, I just think that its very approriate. If you look at his words and his style of being frustrated with world, (plus they both swear a whole lot). I think if you searched a little you could find a good song. Good luck. Thats an amazing book.
