The dumbest thing he did was to allow ANY of Clinton's people to remain, either at the CIA, or the State Department. He should have done what Clinton did with the U.S. Attorneys as soon as he took office, and fired them all.
If you recall, it was Clinton's CIA and "intelligence" teams that said Iraq had WMD's, and it was his decision to drop any effort to find Bin Laden after the first attack on the World Trad Center. In fact, Sudan had Bin Laden in custody afterwards, and offered him up on a plate, and Clinton didn't think it was important. No act of terrorism was ever addressed during his administration.
The No Child Left Behind Act, if you recall, had Teddy's fingerprints on it too. The scores wouldn't be so dismal if the teachers were more interested in teaching than salary and benefits, and if the PARENTS were doing THEIR job by seeing to it that the kids do their work. This is a trend that is fifty years in the making....and all of a sudden, it's Bush's fault?
For all the morons who simply DO NOT GET IT....the wiretapping is done on calls coming in from countries that are on the terrorist list.......if you are getting a call from Iran, Syria or Jordan, it is being monitored because of where it is coming from. The government doesn't care about your pathetic life unless you are talking to someone in ENEMY TERRITORY!
Just because the economy isn't being inflated by bogus figures, the way Clinton did in his last two years of office, counting a surplus that did not exist except on paper, does not mean we are not in a healthy economy. And the National Debt NEVER goes down, except in the case of depression. Deport twenty million illegals, Taco, and you'll see the U.S. save trillions of dollars annually, in welfare, healthcare, education, lost tax revenue......

1. Lied about Iraq to get us into a war we likely can't win that is costing us billions of dollars every year and is killing thousands of people for no good reason.
2. Invented an education program that encourages better qualified teachers that are held accountable, but does not provide funding for schools to hire teachers that qualify, and punishes schools that don't have the resources to keep up, rather than lending them the hand they need.
3. Slowly has eroded civil rights with illegal wire-tapping, and has lied about his knowledge of it when his past two attorney generals got busted for it.
4. Cut taxes while increasing spending. The result: a slow economy and increased national debt.
That's four right off the top of my head. I'm sure I could do better given some time. It's not hard to do with Bush!

Here in the UK he is treated as a joke - a very dangerous joke though. He wouldn't be President if he didn't have a rich Daddy and was very rich himself.
He will go down in history as one of the stupidest Presidents on record.Mind you we don't do so bad either.
But I feel sorry for you US guys - he's even worse than our late El Presidente Tony Blair and his legacy is a even bigger drip by the name of Gordon Brown.
Who says politics is dead - all the idiots are still alive and kicking.
