my pa has one, i think they made a mistake while making it, my pa has cut into it and it is silver

"cutting into it" destroyed any intrinsic value that it had.

Unfortunately, the cut into it destroyed any collector value it may have had. You can't really tell if a coin is silver by doing that anyway. All you know is it is silver colored all the way through. I have no idea what a 2 cant coin is but the 2 cent coin is made of bronze and the 2 dollar coin is aluminum-bronze. You need to clarify your question.
