I love both but I say Nirvana is a bit better.

I love them both, but Metallica has been in my life since I was a teenager and when Nirvana came around, I was grown.
I'm gonna go with Metallica just because they have more longevity in my life.

Metallica !! I've been a fan for over 20 years, but I don't think they'll ever create a better album than Master of Puppets.
Nirvana were ok in their time, and did some good stuff, and it is all down to a persons taste and perspective, but they didn't really have the impact on my life that Metallica have done.

Metallica yet I do like Nirvana sufficient to take heed to all of their song without skipping songs. it relatively is amazingly uncommon for me. I do love the version of Metallica's sound plenty extra however and the intensity of their song.
