basically what you get told is if there are any problems with the babies growth...organs bones etc...its not for knowing the sex of the baby at all unless you pay just for that..there is a medical reason for doing an ultrasound its to measure the child and make sure everything is where it is supposed to be and that it is growing at the normal rate...if you get told the sex thats just a bonus...the fact your baby is moving actively is a good thing...

lol, no they dont usually like scans. At my 20 week scan my boy just kept wriggling and wouldnt stay still. The sonographer said he is very active and he was surprised i wasnt feeling his movements yet.
I found out my baby's sex though he managed to stay still long enough for the doc to see lol!
They hate the scans because they push your belly in with the roller belly thing. So bub was proberly just trying to get away from it. I know as soon as they put that roller thing on my belly my baby starts wriggling heaps because he doesnt like it, he aslo does the same thing with the heart monitor! They are funny like that, i love it!!

I was told that she was a girl she was sitting like a frog so cute! She was 10 1/2 inches from crown to feet... She ovbiously loved her feet cause she kept grabbing at them (Lack of toys in utero I guess) haha. She was sitting side ways and kept touching her face and playing with the cord... So cute

funny. Usually that ultrasound is mostly to tell you what the sex of the child is but they also check the usual stuff like length weight all that stuff. Did the doc try to push the baby into position sometimes they push and tap on the belly to make it move into position

I only got to have one ultrasound and my girl had her legs open for the world to see that day.But even though the nurse told me it looked to be a girl not to start buying pink just yet. But I did anyway and a few months later there she was..

I was told it was a girl.
And that she had multiple complications.
Oh and that she's too small for 20 weeks.
Wonderful.
