Depends on the exam. I just took a state licensure exam. I took a pretest....studied around 20 hrs(one hour per night)...took the post test and improved 20 pts. I took the state exam and improved another 10 pts. I passed with an increased score percentage of 30 pts. Studying in general will increase your score substantially. Especially on weekly-type test.

No that's wrong. It DOESN'T matter how long you study in a day or night.
The way I study is that EVERY DAY you learn a bit by bit. The more days past, the more you can relate to the information given and memorize it all.
You can cram, but you won't remember anything.
Studying is something continuous - it doesn't happen overnight.
Start the FIRST DAY with your study habits (2 hours per night or more if your in University) and I'll guarantee that you'll end up having an A+/90's and up.

I don't think so... some people take more time to study than others. I only need anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours to study (and I study on the morning of the test... o.O), and others cram until the wee hours of the morning.

You can study for 10 hours, and still not get it, while another person studies for 1 minute and aces. Even continuous studying in small increments of 2 hrs. each night won't help you 100% of the time. If you don't get it, you don't get it. Period. That's been my experience.

I think so.
I HATE studying and am a C student on average. Sometimes I study for a long time though, and actually focus and read and take notes and I usually make an A when I do that.

Depends on the class.
I spend at least 5 hours of some good studying to do well.

it all depends on the person, if it helps you out to study then yeah the more you study the better. there has to be a point were you let your brain energize and relax though and just leave the rest up to luck.

I study a lot and have a 3.75 G.P.A., couldn't get it without studying. I never studied much in high school, but college is a lot different.
