I moved into a new neighborhood some time ago to discover that I was the only non-Indian living here. I have noticed that many cars are smashed - they appear to have many accidents. Office lady told me they almost ran over a toddler the other day as he was playing around (they had put a sign not to drive faster than 10 miles an hour but no one appeared to respect that). I see many little temples hanging out of their windows (yellow and red colored especially) and I could inhale some odor as if they burn stuff all the time. Some elderly spit frequently. I said "hi" few times and didn't get a single response. A lady looked at me in a strange way as I greeted her. I feel I am living in a ghost town. I am thinking of writing a novel about it :-)

Of course, it could be an isolated incident :-)

i once saw a car with the swastika on it, in red color looked exactly like blood. i asked a guy who told me that it was a good sign and the car owner did it. i was relieved as i had thought a neo-nazi must have been running afoul of himself:-)

Please consider the history of India. It has been under ruthless cruel regime of British for more than three centuries. Their tyrannical behavior has taken deep roots in the subconscious of Indians. In fact the Indians are afraid of your white skin and hence are wary and deferring taking initiative to establish friendship with you. Many of them may not be knowing the language to speak with you.The dented and damaged cars that you saw could be used cars bought by them at throw away prices.
Once you are able to penetrate and mingle with them, you will find them to be one of the friendliest group of people who will sacrifice any thing to see that you are happy and secure in every way.You will have to ignore the bad manners of aged people as they are beyond the age to mend their ways.
P.S. The swastika sign on the car is for good blessings of God. It has nothing to do with signs of the Nazi group. Their sign is just reverse of the Swastika sign of Indians. Please observe it closely.

I live in a town where 60% of the population is East Indian. You aren't doing anything wrong, most of them are rude to people who aren't white or indian and look down on everybody else. That and they are money hungry and greedy. Plus they can't drive (which equates to all the smashed cars).

Btw do you live in NJ? Because that's where most of them are at....
