One of my recent goals was to get the lead role in the school play. How'd I achieve it? I worked my butt off to memorize the lines, perfect a song, and attempt a dance routine. I got myself in the groove, decided that competition was silly and that I shouldn't worry about my previous typecasting, and got the part.
