never heard of that but when I was in middle school I couldn't fall asleep with my closet doors open, so it's kind of like that. Even though now you know there's nothing coming to get you, it stays with you. For me now (I'm an adult) I wont leave the shower curtain closed when I leave the shower I think it's from that movie psycho, which I've never seen, but I like to see into the shower, make sure there is no one creepy behind it.

yeah, because whenever I take a shower I place my clothes on top of the toilet seat.
and, when I am taking a bath, I just think its gross to have the top up.
and also, I cant stand the door of the restroom up whenever I am using the computer.

If you mean the toilet cover, I have mine down all the time when not in use, not just when I shower.
I just think it's more appropriate that way.
You'e not interested in finding out what's inside people's toilet, are you? Well, neither are we in yours.

oh my god i was just thinking about how i do this this morning. i was like why am i putting the seat down to shower? then i realized i do this everytime i take one. i have now come to terms with this weird realization....:)

good luck to keep toilet seat down, its stores wealth within your home, i put mine down cos is sit on lid to dress.
