Immediately go tell your parents and ask them to call his parents. If you are older, you call his parents. You are not equipped to deal with it. It could be very serious or he could be manipulating you. Either way you lose. All you can do is be sure that those people that have responsibility for him get notified and let them get him professional help. Then you need to get away from him for your own good. Don't get drug into the drama-it could be very dangerous for you. People that are contemplating suicide are not thinking rationally and are a risk to themselves and to you. Let him go. . .

Guys joke about suicide a lot (nothing is sacred to us). Example: I swear if I don't get a kill in the next game I am going to lie down in traffic. First, think about the context he said it in. Then think about the good and bad parts of his life. Confront him, tell his family, or call a hotline if you think it is serious.

i used to have a bf that always said that too me - he even used to slit his wrists at my back door step when i didnt want to talk to him. i had to take him to the hospital about 3 times for overdosing etc.
why does he want to kill himself?
are you breaking up with him? if so stick to your guns, you dont need a psyco bf.
email me if you want too talk. I have been through the same drama before. and believe me it was the most anoying thing somebody can put on your head.

I agree -- call an anonymous suicide hotline and ask them what you should do -- they're there because they're experts.
