how do you balance KClO3 by decomposition and Na2COs by dissociation?

are oxidation numbders needed to find the answer? && do you split up KClO3 in three parts or two?

Dissociation is just separation of a substance into ions, e.g. when Na2CO3 dissolves:

Na2CO3(s) --> 2 Na+(aq) + CO3 2-(aq)

Decomposition: depends what it decomposes to. Under the right circumstances, KClO3 decomposes to KCl and O2; under others, it disproportionates into KCl and KClO4. So you need more information.
