My boyfriend does not have the money to go to court nor pay his speeding ticket. What is the consequence of that?

Depends. If it was a regular speeding ticket they may just find him guilty even if not present. He will have his license suspended at some point. Since he is irresponsible he will forget about it, get pulled over for something and get a driving on suspended which will cost more, way more. Plus he will get enough points to up his insurance for 3 years.

Though a warrent is possible so if he gets pulled over again he will answer for that. If it is 20 or so miles over he will DEFINITLY pay the price later.

He needs to man up and go to court. He does what he can in court and gets fined or whatnot. Then he just owes money. Then he goes to the desk where you pay and he tells them he does not have it. They will give him time to do so.

He will have added fines for not showing up to court and there will be a warrant placed for his arrest. The best thing for him to do is go to court and ask if he can do community service to pay it off. Most judges will allow it.

He may lose his license.

If this is his first ticket, he be able to take traffic school, on line. This should make the ticket go away.

Warrant for arrest. And believe me, they do come looking for you. I know someone in this situation and still refuses to pay her fines. Stupid girl.
