There's nothing wrong with it. I suppose, because it is something one does in private, some people are just embarassed to talk about it.

Nothing is wrong with masturbation, even people with partners masturbate (sex can't happen all the time you want it), and it's simply just shoved under the rug in civilized conversation. While everyone does it, not many want to discuss it, maybe because they believe that the act of doing so may make them appear weak or otherwise inferior in the eyes of society, possibility because of the insecurity associated with one's naked body. Close friends do discuss it, however, but this is because you are all friends, and you know you can trust each other, no matter how they perceive you. Masturbation is no more a sign of weakness than using the bathroom, it's merely a way of relieving stress and having a good time. Some are more open about this topic, and there's no problem with that, most are usually confident about themselves and will gladly discuss anything. So, be open or be reserved, either way, everyone masturbates, and it's not wrong at all.

There is NOTHING wrong with masturbation. The only reason people are afraid of it, is because they consider it "taboo".
Clinically speaking, masturbation is healthy and normal. As a plus, just like exercising any other "muscle", it adds to your stamina. Your partner will be pleased!

The only real problem with masturbating is that continued practice of it will desensitize that area, making it increasingly more difficult to gain sexual pleasure from regular intercourse.
