I can tell how deprived I am of baseball when I find myself watching an old 2007 regular season game Cubs vs. Rockies game on the Chicago Sports Channel (and the Cubs were winning in the 8th 8-3 and of course I hate the Cubs). That's how desperate I am for baseball! Anybody else having this problem?

St. Louis is one of the only places in the world where baseball could be played all year long and every game would be a sell out. Usually between October and February are some of the longest months of the year. I make a usual appointment to sit and check stlcardinals.com at least a couple of times a week. You're not alone. Cubs suck. GO CARDS!!!!

I'm right there with you! I can't wait until baseball season is finally here again.

I've been watching full Red Sox games on MLB.com. I subscribed to it last year because I knew I needed a little something to hold me over until baseball season rolled around again. Football games are great, too. Today I must have watched 5 of them. As soon as football season is over, baseball is coming right up. I don't think I could ever go without watching a pro sport for a long period of time....I'd go crazy!

Anticipation is good, though. Just think how excited we'll all be when we sit down to watch our teams first game of the season.

Though I had it bad.Being a American that lives in Japan watched the Baseball World Cub over here just because I needed a Baseball fix.During the off season I tend to watch old Baseball sotries from guys like Micky Mantle and some of the other things to get my fix.Hnag in there the season will start soon.

Did you say deprived or depraved? LOL

You could always come out to Cincinnati and help me recruit kids 15 and under to play baseball this spring. It's going to be exciting starting a minor league system for boys and girls 5 and under, too young to play organized ball!

I not only am deprived now, during the offseason, but I also am in Okinawa Japan and do not get to see many games during the season either. I will be back this summer and cannot wait to watch every god damned Yankee game. I feel for you, but also kind of want to slap you in public.

I do love baseball...but you should try football - the best sport of all! It'll get you through. Talk about a long offseason (football.)

In a few weeks, I will be heading up to Harrisburg to buy my ticket package for the Harrisburg Senators.

But yes, I miss it, but at least I got Hockey to watch right now.
