someone wrote "monkeys are superior to men in that when they look into a mirror they see a monkey". Some animals can conive but by far we've cornered the market.

Animals will befriend you to get something from you. And animals can be deceptive in the things they do, this is what makes some of them better hunters. I don't know where you get what you think are facts about animals, but you are wrong.
If you need some examples, a dog can act friendly to you in order to get some food from you, then turn on you as soon as its belly is full. And lots of animals will make a false trail for someone or something to follow, then backtrack and surprise its prey.
And animals don't just react to things by instinct. If that were true then you'd never be able to train any animal to do anything because they wouldn't be able to learn.

I think the premise confuses 'instinct' with the ability of humans (with higher reasoning and abilities) to be more than the lower animals. Humans have evolved to the point where they have their basic needs met for the most part and are thus able to move on to higher levels, to achieve goals, or to create more complicated societies. We're constantly changing to adapt much faster than the lower animals who just live to survive and propagate their species. We simply have more going on in our lives and that creates other problems.
I think comparing human to animal behavior is apples to oranges.

The moment one is born human, one has everything in a hand's grasp and therefore can start suffering from the "I want" instinct. I want to love, I want to kill, I want to hurt. Animals don't have that, they can onlygo for their instinct. I need to eat, so I must hunt, I need water so I must go to the river and drink. We are thinking, "I need food, so let me have that animal come near me and then I will kill, or I need food, let me steal. Does this sound philosophical enough?

You can't trust a wild animal for your own safety. But you can trust that it could turn on you at any moment.

We have a superior intellect augmented by will. Other species react to life by instinct, we can too, but we have a choice to use instinct or will. Unfortunately, when we choose to be selfish, we inturn become deceitful and we hurt others and ourselves.

i agree with en camera!!!
trust is complex! ex. you trust your beloved dog and yet there will be a time that it will bite you!
same goes with humans!!
we are not forced to trust anyone!!
can i trust you!?
can anyone live without trusting anything and anyone!?
will you eat if you dont trust the person that prepares the food!?
will you trust anything that other humans will say here!?
if someone says "im a lier!?"
will you trust him and believe him that he is telling a lie!?
