ghhhh. Ok, so I have a friend but she discreetly brags ALL the time. She ALWAYS brings the subject back to her all the time and whenever someone calls her a wierdo she says "yep. thets me. the wierdo. and im proud of it!!" it gets realllly annoying. She thinks shes so crazy and insane/funny/random but shes just a wanna be. she drives me insane.

What should I do?

just stare at her when she says that like you think she just said something stupid and say "yeah... so when i was at the store blah blah..."haha. i know it sounds kinda mean, but i did this to one of my friends and she finally stopped trying to be the center of attention.

Tell her, " OK buddy boy, its not all about you, there are other people in this world too you know?" Hahaa jk lol. You can tell her that your so con sided but in a jokingly voice. She should just think about others sometimes too. Whenever she talks about herself just change the subject and if she buts in again say OK and go back to the subject.

I know a lot of people like that. And from what I have learned about their lives, they don't get alot of attention. I may be a pushover, but I just listen and I don't talk about myself. I like being alone anyway. If it really bothers you though, make subtle hints that she needs to listen to YOU.

She is probably very insecure, but either way, she is not going to change. Unless you like to hear about her, her, her, lose her! She sounds like a lousy friend - doesn't care about you, other than as an audience

Ummmm well if she annoys you soo much....maybe you just shouldn't talk to her anymore. and maybe you should end the friendship.
