Never! Richard Simmons is a national treasure of freakdom and oddness. If he loses the candy-striped shorts and tank tops, there's no telling what could happen. Seriously, though, I always thought what he did for people was nice; I think he helped people feel better about themselves, and if that's the goal and he can do it, well, he can keep his tank tops and short-shorts on for the rest of his life.
