I know there are 3 specific names for them. Im loking for the one where one half of the split ends up on top of the other half.

The three types of fault (where an earthquake occurs) are as follows:

Strike Slip, where the rocks go past each other (eg. San Andreas)

Normal Fault, where the rocks move apart, with one usually falling down (eg. African Rift Valley)

Revrse or Thrust Fault, where the rocks move into each other, with one sliding ontop of the other. This is the type you are talking about

An Earthquake is an Earthquake, regardless of its cause.

You want the 3 types of faults and Geologist Greg has answered it fine.
