I work in the financial services industry by day (investments) and hockey historian on evenings and weekends.

I also own a consulting company which specializes in statistical analysis and interpretation (primarily for the biotechnology industry as that is my academic background but I have also done work for several professional sports teams and other authors).

The consulting company has a subsidiary sports memorabilia company which funded my university education.

I'm a genuine hockey fan who loves all teams in all leagues. I support my Tier 2 Junior A team.

1: Not sure. Really, just the ability to sit back, have a beer, and watch a game. Or go out to a bar, have a beer, and watch the game. 2: I'm a Flames fan, so I'd like it to involve them, though I'd say they're a big long shot. All the matchups I'd love to see in the finals are just way too unlikely. 3: Don't have a daughter, but maybe a guy like Jonathan Toews? He seems like a nice kid. 4: Gonna watch it at home I think, maybe go to a friend's house or a pub. Nothing too big. 5: I think Stamkos looks pretty good, and the revamped Lightning are gonna be a contender as long as their D holds up. 6: Totally biased, but I'd love to see Jarome Iginla get a piece, Trevor Linden, just so he could get one before packing it in, same with Mats Sundin. In terms of guys who were working for it all year long, Malkin and Ovechkin were performing like they really wanted it, and if there was some way to give it to Luongo without giving it to the hated Canucks, that would also be great. Can't quite think of nine. 7: I dunno. Detroit's depth is just crazy, but I think I like Filppula on that line. He's been solid for a while now, and it seems like he could do something special with more ice time and better partners like Franzen and Hank.

I grew up in New England, but couldn't stand the local Boston teams, so I became a diehard NYR fan. I am now a professional audio/video installer specializing in home theater design. Spent six years serving in the US Navy prior to my current job. The navy is the reason I began liking the Chicago Blackhawks. (My Navy technical school was in Great Lakes IL, about an hour and 15 minute train ride from CHI-town.) Happily I got to see their AHL team on a regular basis as well, being stationed in Norfolk, VA. Sadly... the Norfolk Admirals are no longer affiliated with the proud heritage of the Blackhawks, so I don't bother watching them any more. (I can't stand the Tampa Bay Lightning or their system) Show me a Blackhawks/Blueshirts Stanley Cup Final and I will be torn...

Im currently a full time student, going for the same degree that I guess Copas has too, Associates in Electronics Engineering. I also work part time at an international shipping company. I mostly just shrink wrap boxes together and drive a fork lift all day. Im hoping to get an internship soon though because I should have my degree by summer. Im also a Wings fan.

Copas: Im just going to a community college in Ohio. Its not bad though, theres a NASA station a half hour from my school and a lot of my teachers used to work there. Its nice being able to say Im being taught by rocket scientists.

I am happy to be able to baby sit my three granddaughters four days a week. I have made sure they all have many Red Wings clothing items! The other three days I work a Meijer, a super center WAY better than Wal*mart. I have been a Red Wings fan for over 30 years. I am also a Michigan State Spartan hockey supporter and if they are "out of it"
I root for North Dakota.

I'm fifteen. Mascot for a Double A farm team to the Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers. Also a roller hockey and ice hockey referee. I cheer for the Bruins! Was born in Hawai'i so I didn't really have anybody to root for but... both of my parents were born and raised in Boston, so I went with their team! :-)

I'm a weld inspector in Ohio. I am a long time BlackHawks fan, but I do root for the Blue Jackets now that we have an actual NHL team here. On the local level I am a die hard Cincy Cyclones (ECHL) fan.
I also root for the Miami Redhawks on the college level.
