I recommend the lap band surgery over any of the others. Minimally invasive, short recoup time and excellent results.

Before you consider something as risky as bariatric surgery, you need to consult with a doctor who specializes in bariatrics. I would also recommend trying a fitness program and behavior modification, first. Get the kids involved as well. You will all be healthier for it.Yes,you have a lot of weight to lose, but you CAN do it and the long term benefits to your health will be much better without surgery. Consider surgery as a last resort. From what I understand, the surgery is no cakewalk and neither are the other effects that go along with it.

if you are asking about Bariatric surgery .........you really should talk to your primary physician about the risks or surgery and what your prognosis for success would be...your Dr. may even try a strict Diet first( I prefer to call it a lifestyle change) because surgery should be a last resort. Surgery will also be expensive. Best Wishes to you and your family

Are you talking about plastic surgery? A tummy tuck or breast augmentation? The cost is going to vary by where you live and which doctor you see. If you're talking about lap band surgery to reduce your weight, you need to see a specialist in bariatric medicine who can help you and decide if it will work for you.

I am a mothe rof five and also overweight. I would never have surgeory to lose weight. There are too many risks involved.
Try the South Beach Diet. If that doesn't work for you try the mesotherapy injections. I know that these work and they work rather quickly.

You should consider other options than any type of surgery. It is dangerous and tends to lead to other addictions because you need to fix you inside. I have kids and I have had to work my butt off to lose all the baby weight I gain. In doing so I have much more energy and respect for myself and know that I can accomplish anything. Walk and workout. My kids love to workout with me and take walks. You can do it for yourself and your kids..... Good Luck....

You should put this under women's health. Just because you don't have a partner, doesn't mean you have to perform in front of others. Doing IT should be a private thing between two people who love each other or it can be practiced on ones self also in private. Good luck with this.

I don't know the cost of a gastric bypass if that's what you are asking. But I know the risks are high. Have you considered other options?
