Yes & No.
I am the only child from MY Mother & Father...
However, I grew up with my older (half) brother & sister, from my Mothers 1st marriage.
They never new their Father & we are very close in age
I found out that my Father has a daughter (older than me) in another country. We've never met.
My Father re-married a woman with 2 daughters, which gave me 2 step-sisters.
Then his wife had 3 sons, which are also my half brothers.
My (half) Sister (that I grew up with) found out (only 5 years ago) that her Father remarried & had 5 children with his second wife. He gave his first sons from BOTH wives the SAME name. (Sooo.. now ..my sister has 2 brothers with the same name..... NOT Darryl...)
I'm not sure what (if anything) they are to me...
If all of that confuses anybody... just wait.... I'm sure that we'll all be on one of those daytime trash-talk shows, someday, to figure it out... LOL~!
Don't even get me started on all the grandparents & their multiple marraiges/children......
"Family" is good.....

I am the last of seven children. Yes we are a big family and we get along well. If you thing that my mother had alot of kids, you should see how many grandkids she have.
