can i send a check instead of an money order threw the mail

The seller usually says what type of payments they accept. Many don't take personal checks. Read the auction ad thoroughly. You can get money order at the post office, banks and evan Wal Mart.

Most sellers on eBay will not take a personal check due to the fee`s associated with a bounced check. You can go to pay pal and do an e-check. It is safer for you as well for the seller.

send the seller a message first to see if it's ok with them sometimes they wont accept it and return it to you. A money order is easier for them as they don't have to wait so long for the check to clear and have no worries with it bouncing if there is no money in your a/c

alot of sellers will take a check, its good to ask the seller before hand, the fact is , is he wont ship the item till the check clears anyway. but if your check bounces he loses the fees and that will piss the seller off

depends on the seller's wishes. often yes as long as its certified. however be wary.
