Oceanic crust is denser than continental crust. When they collide the denser plate usually "loses" and goes under. This is called a subduction zone.

Probably looking for the term Convergent Boundary. The above answers are correct but given the way you wrote the question, Convergent Boundary sems to be what you want, as a "type".
