It doesn't snow anywhere near miami or ft. myers. So unless they go up north, no!
I've seen snow four times in my life and I'm a grown woman. I know more than a few people who haven't seen snow, and don't really care if they ever do ;)

It snowed in miami in the 70's for an hour. The snow melted before it hit the ground. It affected orange crops all over the state.

Miami has seen snow fall once in recorded history. It was in 1977 less than an inch of snow fell on the city that day. It made headlines across the country. I am a resident of Miami and have seen snow many times. Just never in Miami. Other parts of Florida get some snow every 8-10 years. Central Florida will get sleet once in a while 8-10 years while North Florida has even experienced blizzard conditions in the past. Jacksonville once got 7inches of snow in 1989. But snow is still very rare any where in Florida and is a once in 150 year event in South Florida.

It has snowed twice in Fort Myers during my life time: January 1977 and Christmas Eve 1989. Both were officially just a trace, no accumulation. Just flurries flying in the air. It did get cold though, down into the mid 20's on both occasion: a hard freeze that did a lot of damage to the citrus industry......

I do not believe that residents of Miami or Fort Meyers have ever experienced snow in those cities. However, about 100 miles north in citrus country heavy icy freezes have occurred which required smudge pots and sprinkler systems to work until temperatures rose to above freezing and eliminated the danger of losing a whole crop.

i saw snow once in miami, i was in 3rd or 4th grade, we all ran out of class to catch the snow on our tongues. it melted as soon as it landed, there was no ground cover at all. still fun for us though.
that's about it for miami. ft myers is a bit further north but i suspect it's the same thing.
