What cmb5283 says. You shouldn't double up or triple up or anything because the friction of one on the other can cause them to break. Condoms are effective if you use them properly - put it on before you go in or even have genital contact (just in case), stop and use a new one if it breaks or slips off, and withdraw carefully asap making sure none spills out.

One condom only...more than one and they break easier actually. If put on right and taken off after sex rather than the guy staying in the girl as he becomes soft...they are VERY effective. Close to 100%
