Hmm. I'm going to assume you used some funny notation, and are looking for the union of two sets:

The set of all x such that 1 < x < 4

and

The set of all x such that x -3 > 3

The second one is the same is the set of all x such that 6 < x

I'll further assume you're graphing these sets on the number line. So the first one is a line segment from x = 1 to x=4, with the endpoints NOT included. The second one is a half line from x = 6 off to the right to infinity, with the endpoint NOT included.
