Stress is unavoidable at work, and it shouldn't harm her baby in any way. Not eating right is a big issue though. Her body is giving a lot of nutrients to the baby right now, so the mom's body will suffer (illness, weight loss, fatigue). Nature has a way of making pregnant women crave healthy foods that it needs, like if your body needs calcium you'll crave milk. Hopefully this will happen to her.

The answer is no. She needs a proper diet during pregnancy, and a minimum of stress. She needs to quit the stressful job, and shouldn't be working two jobs anyway, even if she doesn't have a husband or boyfriend to help support her. There are agencies that provide financial help to people in your friend's situation if she has no other means of support, or if one job is insufficient to maintain her.

well, two three, four and five jobs are fine, if a person is a healthy eater and knows how to rest when she isnt working.

as long as she eats well (which you as a good friend should insist on) - a lot of protein, vitamin enriched foods, fruit, red meat, your friend should be fine.
no alcohol and smoking..
and as she gets further in her pregnancy, she will, whether you tell her or not, have to cut down the work load.

thumbs up for you for caring...

Of course not. She needs to get on a healthier diet right away and quit one of her jobs if possible. I had a co-worker who had 2 kids born without one of their fingers and the other one without one of his toes. She ate onion rings and starburst candies all day at work and worked like a dog from 10 to 6 2 days a week. She had another job somewhere else too.

Actually it is good that you have brought this topic up to others because it is in fact very unhealthy, both stress, and eating habits (biggest one) effect the baby's development. It is best that both of these habits be stopped immediately for the good of all parties.

nope it's not, u should talk to her about it b.cos she could put herself and her baby in danger. The baby needs nutrition and she better give it or she'l be blaming herself after she sees the consequences
