I've been and continue to be a Queen fan since I was 7. Closing in on my 40th B-day I have made "Spread Your Wings" by John Deacon my favourite.
Everything Queen embody---escape from the everyday.
Reaching for something better and knowing you can reach your goal.
The track is one of Freddie's strongest vocal performances and the guitar solo by Brian kills with Roger in fine form.
John is sooooooooo underrated as a bassist. He gave Queen some of their most thoughtful lyrics---a truly inspiring track from the now classic period, off the NOTW Lp.
