Yes because rarely do every member of a species die off. Much more commonly they evolve to fit the environment better (this is much of the reason there are so many species because if there was a bigger chance to die off we wouldn't be here). In the human case it probaly involves getting stupider. You may claim this is bad, but intelligence has been more a burden than it has of a blessing. We all feel the same emotions yet intelligents slowly but surely makes them more intense. To any Artist this appears great, but when one human can be the sole cause of 11-12 million deaths (the Holocaust) it makes you wonder how great intelligence is (we are evolving to be stupider, watch idiocracy it does a great job explaining it). God is not our salvation as your religion (whatever it is if it is a religion) is so obviously false.

We will probably suffocate when there is insuffucient oxygen to keep us all alive. We are like ants, highly destructive and we reproduce at an unbelievable pace. With life spans growing that means more people to breathe less air. Death is sure.
